About Me

My name is Candice Anastasi, and I live in northwestern Los Angeles with my husband, and a golden retriever who is our first pet.  I have been married to the love of my life, Andrew, for 29 years. We have two amazing children, Emily and Wesley, who are young adults.  My primary goal in life is to glorify my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  I work at doing that by carefully studying His word in the Bible, and striving to apply it to my life.  I have long had a passion for Bible memorization, and recently started contemplating how the Bible affects how Christians should view politics. I have a desire to share this with other people, because it is so important to rightly understand issues. This is especially important in our culture, which has little knowledge of what the Bible says.  Even those who know the Bible have not often thought through how biblical concepts apply to every day life. I have often shared my thoughts on Facebook, but decided a website would be a better way to communicate.   In my professional life, I am a certified public accountant.  In my free time I like to garden, bake gluten free, hike, work on cross stitch, and spend time with family and church.
